Use of Max?
Use of Max?
I am new to this forum and am a lurker unless I have something crazy going on. I find the information here very helpful and end up saving $$$.
I understand that most of you are "enthusiasts" and modify your Maxs with every available aftermarket option to your tastes. Most of the mods are not pratical for me. For example, most of the tires that you guys (and gals) have would last me about 3 months.
I have a 2K GLE that I mostly drive for business. 120K miles. Grey Lustre, Grey Leather, Wood Grain, 28% tint.
Just curious....
Does anyone here drive their Max for nice looking, comfortable, fun to drive transportation?

My Max is completely stock. I resisted modding anything on it because I don't plan on having the car forever so I didn't want any hassle when trading or selling the car. But I did buy the car for its looks and overall performance. It is relatively comfortable to drive, especially long distance highway cruising. I wouldn't exactly say the car is "fun to drive" in a sports car kind of sense, but the acceleration of the 3.5 VQ is amazingly fun sometimes.

Mine's a daily driver. I had wanted a Max for many years and finally got one. Going in, I was not aware of the org, or what could be done with the car. The mods I've done enhance the stock form. About a 50/50 split between performance and cosmetic.

), but none-the-less I think the 4dsc montra is pretty much the idea behind owning these cars...a fun good looking (though many might disagree) car that is still practical.
when i bought my first max - i enjoyed the living crap out of it stock, i just love max's.... i promised i would never mod my car...got my next max same thing...then i found the org like two years ago...then for some strange reason - that's out in the toilet now.... if mod's are available.... i am all for it. - but i did enjoy it stock at first..... so hey i guess it's up to the individual....
I have kept my car in close to stock form. Every mod I've done can be easily changed back to stock.

I like it mostly for it's stylish appearance and fun-to-drive attitude.
