Can window tint hinder visibility...
to the point that it feels like I'm looking thorugh someone else's eyeglasses? I've had this problem for several months now. I've had the tint on my rear windshield for about 5 years now. I'm not the type of person to clean my car every other week, but I'm careful enough that my car has a clean look to it. Everytime I look through my rearview mirror, day or night, all the objects are now completely blurry. So, I went to my rear seats to give the rear window a cleaning from the inside and outside (just warm water - no detergents to harm the tint), and the problem is still there. Does anybody have any suggestions, or should I get it re-tinted?

Thanks for your input everybody. I'll probably wait until the begining of spring to get the tinit replaced. I guess the place I went to didn't have the quality tint. They did a great job of the installation though...

I have 25% on the sides and 19% on the back window, and it seriously looks like there is no tint on the windows when you are inside at night. From the outside you cant really see in, but maybe because it is a 100% metalized tint film? I have Quantum film on, and I was told it is fully metalized rather than partially like other films, and it takes much longer to dry.
I have 20% all around and 5% on rear window. The side windows are dark at night, but its not too dark to see. The rear window can get annoying once in a while, but you get used to it, headlights / high beams no longer bother me through the rear window, which is nice since everyone's headlights are in my face with my car as low as it sits now.
