Not a boring sappy racing story.


I'm not much of a racer since im mostly stock, but I was talking my gf home tonight when a total of 4 cars (throughout the 40 min-20/20 ride) pull the "2 fast 2 furious" pull up and want to race. I don't have a catback; just the bodykit and generally drive very calm. But i still manage to grab the attention of other cars that just want to race for pink slips. Does anyone else get this crap as well?

i know some of you possess tuned machines and love to streetrace, but i dont normally do it. Anybody else have this problem?

btw, this is a day after 2-4 inches of snow we just had

 

all the ricers wana race all the time..but i only sometimes go along with it..btw i love your rims..what kind are they?

i always get these ricer trying to race me but of course i never do...my car look more stock than yours but it doesn't matter...you have body kit and wheels which will attract more attention...

 

Yeah Nisomotic I know what you mean, philly is a city full of ricers. The only bad thing is not that many people have the cars that can give us a run. I know thats the main reason I don't take Roosevelt blvd. anymore because of the idiots.

 

I never race any of the ricers...

but i must say if i ever see a modded max, i still pull up and have some fun...

 

yeah all the time...a jeep with a lift kit wanted to race me today...i just laughed...i stopped driving fast and racing ppl...smart thing to do

 

That happened to me one time with a 1992 honda accord. The car pulled up at the light and one of the kids inside says" you want to race, you think you got it?" I was like you must be kidding me.

I ignore most s that try to start stupid sh*t on the road. They're the ones I always see pulled over.

 

No one has wanted to race me in a long time. My car has a stock muffler and looks pretty stock except for the Maxima.org stickers on the windows. I wish I had more friends with modded cars. I need to get to a track this winter.

 

a lot of the times i dont realize how nice my car looks from the opposite point of view cuz im too busy bein hard on my max noticing little scratches that people dont even consider bad, and i get a lot of stares and i get pissed cuz i just wanna blend in. it just doesnt click in my head sometimes that my car looks mint. my 2 cents.

 

I get "tested" from time to time as well....and I'm not even thinking about racing. I dunno if it's the tint and they autmatically think I wanna race or it's hooked up TO race....I dunno. But I'm not into racing really......I just think people wanna see what u "got"....

 

Even though i don't street race everyone wanted to race when i just had the intake. Now that i have the supercharger nobody even glance twice at me and i know nobody can tell or would even think it is supercharged. O'well i am just happy the rice keep to themselves now

 

I really don't get tested all that often. Your car looks fast even when sitting still so I can assume people feel like it should be.

 

I seem to attract the attention of most local ricers that feel froggy.... my HIDs probably have something to do with that. I've even had an F250 rev on me at a light (I just laughed as normal acceleration outpaced his floored diesel).

 

the only thing you can see on my car are the clear coners and everyone still wants to race me... i think it is just the max... it must a ricer bench mark to be able to beat a max. i have also found that mustangs always want to race me...

Everytime I clean my rims, I attract a ricer.

I think there attracted to shiny moving objects.

 

 

i had a 300zx (i dont know whether it was turbo or not) start with me on the interstate, but other than that, they leave me alone......... when tilley drives though, everyone wants to race him....and they always get smoked lol...


had more of a problem with ppl wanting to race my accord........ like its fast.... even with a prelude motor the max still smoked it when the max was stock........ stupid ricers..... i hate them all

 

Ricers will try to race anything, last nite I was on a stretch of road thinking I was alone and since I hadn't driven my car in a few days, I decided to pick it up a bit, next thing I knew there was a Prelude with the bees in a can almost rear ending me. I just downshifted to second, took it up to 50 real fast and backed off. He stayed away.

 

People laughed at my car the first time I went to the local track.

 

nobody wants to race me because they say i sit to high and i might fall over onto them lol. my car is bone stock and every now and then i get somebody trying to start a race but i dont know why.

 

racing? on the street? WTF? not in my car. i take it to the track.

If your car looks hooked up some one will always try and get you going.

 

The peeling honeycombs scare the ricers away.

 

i get the same ish happening to me all the time...on the freeway, a ricer trying to race me is a mistake...MEVI POWER BIATCHES!!!

Funny I saw this thread, I was just talking to two buddies of mine (one with a modded 5.0 and the other with a modded Lightning) believe it or not, the Mustang has only had 3 people try him and the Lightning a big ZERO!

People cut others off and do all kinds of manuvers just to race me. I cant even count the people like they can.

Its the Skyline duals w/ variable capacity mufflers on the VE swapped 4th gen

This thread is funny cause some dude in a Baretta was revving at me at a light and then he tried to race me. of course I didn't even waste my time or gas.

After like 5 blocks of this guy getting next to me and revving. I did something funny to **** him off. I downshift to 2nd and I can see he gets all happy. I beep the horn 3 times and he floors it but I slam on the brakes ( no one behind me) and I take the turn into my street. lol Damn ricers have no lives! Thats my story.

I had almost the same exact encounter with a Baretta. I had just put in my all red interior lights and smoked corners. I get into the turning lane as if I was gonna pass him so we are at the light I'm torque braking. At green the idiot slams it, I turn into the gas station, and the area were this happened at there's always a cop right behind the station. I was laughing my **** off for the entire time it took for me to fill my tank. The cop must've been like who were you racin again??

 

i raced this black rsx w/ intake, exhaust, and some other stuff and a body kit on I91 a few times from 60mph-115mph i was about 1/2 car ahead of him until my speed limiter kicked in then he passed me, mind you my car is very beat up looking, and his is all bling bling w/ aem, and customcreations stickers all over it. funny thing is i see the same car parked in fair haven with a for sale sign on it 1 weeks later .... lol newbs

 

no racing for me. once in awhile i will get a ricer next to me who will keep looking over like he wants to test me but i never oblige. they are a waste of gas.

No.. it is designed to mirror stock as much as possible.

Besides:

1. i don't race what i know will lose
2. i don't race what i know i will lose against
3. i don't race because i want to keep my license.

back to topic, no. it's quite unoticable i would say..
