I go to USD and was on my way to class when I saw a really clean looking 5th gen Maxima. It had 18" Polished wheels and was lowered with Eibach springs(stickers on the windows). Is this anyone's car?

Cool. Fellow San Diegans.. I live here as well. went to school a while back (one of those "older" guys [30] according to my liscense.

Hey cwally,
Nice job on the stereo! among adding a few mods to my car, the stock Bose system needs some work! It comes stock with this little 8" wanna be sub that really sux. Where did you buy the amp and speakers if you don't mind me asking. And... my last car was a hatch back (Talon) so putting in subs was easy, I noticed on your ride the rear deck has component speakers etc.. Do the subs push these causing them to distort? Did you drill holes or anything to let the air pass (Ports) in to the passenger cabin or do those bad boys just have what it takes to get your hair on end?

Thanks,
Chummin

Actually, i had a custom fiberglass box built into the spare tire well. I bought my woofers and amp on Ebay and had them installed and the box built at Street Noyz(I bought my head unit there). Used to be called Fritz (in Point Loma). My PPI and eclipse speakers I had bought at Al and Eds. But with that amp and the enclosure, it hits pretty hard. And actually in the 5th gen the speakers are actually in the doors, and not in the rear deck. Here is a pic. And maybe Ill cruise by USD some time and we'll meet up AG...
