This looks very nice and has headlight nozzles to clean your headlights off!

Who honestly knows why car companies choose to put cars where they do. Maybe they didn't think it would sell well? Who knows. You're right, though, it might be neat to get some parts from that model...

It's like an Infiniti I30 with options that make sense for Russia. It comes with a the 2.0L VQ20DE and the 3.0L VQ30DE. Other than the fact that the smaller displacement 6cyl engines might be smoother than the 3.5L VQ35DE, the Russian Maxima isn't more desirable from a mechanical standpoint.

Russians have a different relationship with their cars than we do. Safety equipment isn't a high priority. One thing you may like about Russian cars is that they're easier to work on than US cars. Russians are about 90% more likely to work on their own cars than Americans are, so they tend to be more simple and rugged. That Maxima probably lacks a lot of the complicated emissions control equipment and sensors that US-Spec Maximas have. It looks like a variation on the A32 with some styling cues from the A33. Nissan probably won't sell an A34 Maxima in Russia for a long time.
