(the NOS-Xima),showing that even a hopeless family sedan can turn decent times on the bottle."

ALOT (most) people that haven't driven Maximas grossly underrate the car. Hell look at SCC or any other performance magazine, they always state that the Maxima is 'a diamond in the rough' or 'gets overlooked despite its excellent engine'. It really helps at stoplight races though.

also its say that a hopeless family sedan cant even turn out decent times? doesnt a 4th or 5th gen capable of running mid to high 14's stock? thats almost as fast as a newer model type r. and the type r is a true sports car and ours is a family car, not bad for a family car i say. and this guys thinks maximas are hopeless. he needs to take a look at adam's car with his 10 psi supercharger which is running 12's and 13's. that looks pretty dam decent time to me. i am sorry, that article just ****es me off, what a moron.

Type R is not a true sports car, it's compromise. some 4th and 5th gen have run high 14's. But in the hands of the average joe, a 4th or 5th gen won't break into the 14's.

Maxima hater!! BTW, DSMs are capable of 9 and 10 second 1/4s , so a 12 to them really isn't that impressive.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I see now. That knucklehead is a Mistu owner. I should tell him how I blew away a Galant on the way to work one day. He would probably tell me I am lying. These people kill me.

DSMers are old school. Were talking 90-95 DSMs, the Talon, Eclipse and Galant VR4 (I refuse to say Laser). DSM doesn't exist anymore.
