Yup, I won the Toyo Tires burnout contest at the NHRA Import Drag competition....I was also in the bracket races, but I broke out. I ran a 14.71 and my dial in was a 14.80....oh well, Toyo tires said that they want to sponsor my car! Hells yeah! I'll put a mp3 of the burn out up as soon as I can figure out how to change it over from the camcorder

Great story

Happy to hear all is well. Sounds like you are very hard on tires. Future Y-pipe buyers beware, bald tires are not covered on the y-pipe warrenty. Keep smokin away.

Way to represent. That must feel good!? So was the contest about who could spin the tires the longest or the most smoke?

It was the most smoke in 60 seconds, but I completly balded my brand new Toyo Proxes FZ4 and threw the tread off the tire in around 45 seconds!!!

Smoking your tires is worse than smoking crack. Check yourself into rehab

Congrat Bill. You know what? I always wonder how people drive home after the burn out contest. What if you bust both of the front tires?

I was there with a group of people, and I didn't have my spare with me. I used a spare off of a Sebring, and if I needed to, there was also an Eclipse there, so I had that part covered. The Sebring actually had a 16" donut!
