VB Mod Question
VB Mod Question
I am planning to do the VB Mod on my car but I am curious. Can this mod be done to any other cars besides the Maxima? Also I live in Cali so do any of you Cali people know where I can get it done? Last does it wear your tranny out faster since the VB mod makes the car shift faster?
Yes, this mod can be done to any auto car, because it is just a modification to the valve body. It is commonly called a shift kit. In Cali, go to Top Element Tuning. As long as you properly cool your car with a tranny cooler since the faster shifts will heat up the tranny fluid, you should be fine.
VB mod will actually lengthen your tranny's life as there's less wear on the moving parts. Just be sure to get a tranny cooler as mentioned above to prevent any heat-related damage.

and it's funny taht it voids the powertrain warranty.... so for those who want to be safe you'd have to wait several years before you could even PRESERVE the life of the tranny, stupid stealerships i swear
