MAXIMA transmissions are FLAWED??

I just noticed something for the new 5spd autos vs the 4spd (6th vs 5.5th gen)
I noticed the differences between the 2.
letting it autoshift itself.

1st-2nd it goes all the way to 6500rpm(about 200rpm under redline), both 6th and 5.5gens then drop back down to 4000rpm.

2nd-3rd, same 6500rpm, but the 5spd auto drops down to 4600rpm, whereas the 4spd drops to 4250rpm.(ok there is an advantage)

here's where i think we got screwed.
3rd-4th - my 5spd auto shifts itself just under 100mph, i always thought, wow, not like those long 120mph shifts like the old 4spd. But the reason is cause it ONLY goes to 6000rpm, not cause it REDLINED faster (as i would think, because shorter gears = in the upper revs.) Thus in my theory, switching at 6000rpm, droping down to mid 4000rpm, would be SLOWER, than the 4spd auto going all the way to 6500rpm(even though u lose power going over the 5800rpm peak). Although I rarely go that fast, I learnt that if i wanna go past 6000rpm, just hold the tiptronic down and right before redline, let off.

Now, im just curious for the 4th and 5th gens. Are their autos nice and long gear ratios as well? I know the 5th gen is(power peak@6400rpm), but doesnt that almost mean they have a wider powerband?

I was also thinking in theory, how would a 4th/5th gen 5spd manual gear ratio work, if it was in our 5spd autos, would it be faster? since a lot of 4th/5th gens shift into 4th gear in the 1/4 ?

How about the 6spds? although the 6th gear i know is used in overdrive, how benifical is it?

Just all speculation, but after driving some AMG autoboxes, and even the 99 TL and 00 5spd, their autoboxes seem better ?

I wouldn't call it a flaw, its just how Nissan programed the shift-points. 5A gears are pretty short, its just the final drive that seems tall. 5A doesn't even have a real O/D since 5th gear is a 1.02:1 ratio (or was it 1.04:1 ratio?)
