Clunking after spring install...help.

Just installed Tokico HPs and Progress two days ago. It's not constant but I'm having the occasional clunk. If I remember correctly, when I installed my previous springs, this went on for a week and disappeared with no ride probelms. Is it normal? Is everything just settling? The car is riding great. Any inputs appreciated.

Did you retighten the center nut on top after putting the car back down on the ground? Are you sure the springs are properly seated... things to check.

usually this noise comes from the springs not properly seated - may want to recheck if the springs are seated on the struts properly - make sure the start of the spring fits into the dip/groove on the strut - a buddy of mine had the same problem with his progress springs , he reseated them, and the noise was gone - good luck

Noted...I give it a try. I read on Housecor's site that alot of people experience clunking for a short period after install. I guess it's the springs settling. Everything looks seated and in place.
