TSW or Konig?
I have set of TSW 18 inch veterans that have been diving through potholes for years... not a ding or scratch yet, except for the time I let one of them tip over on the front side by mistake (ouch!)... quality rims, they have taken a beating.
U really think that SprintMax?
I see knock offs of konigs all over. They have quite a few original styles I think.
Did you have bad experiences with them? Or who that u know did?
I'm just wonderin cause its the first time I heard that.

TSW
I dont have any personal experience with TSW, never owned them. My brother has however, and his were bent to hell, i HEAR they are quite soft and easy to bend, though that contradicts what was just said on here. I have had 2 sets of konigs, and i was happy with them. i managed to bend a wheel in both sets, this was with VERY hard curb impacts however... not "turning around a corner and scraping" impacts.... i mean like head-on-ran-up-on-the-curb impacts. dont ask how... hehe. thats my take on the entire situation.

I agree with sprint...
I've been happy with the konig's i've owned. I agree with sprintmax however... they are for the most part knock-offs or higher end wheels. They are made in the Phillipines, and for most Konig wheels, i can think of a much more expensive version. Konig Verdict (the wheel i have) = RH Z5000 with 1 more spoke, Konig Sub-Zero = RH CP-35, Konig Toxxin=Sparco Racing Viper ($600/wheel approx, depending on size), Konig MP-3=Sparco Racing Python i think (whatever it is, i know its made by Sparco Racing), Konig Villain (my old konig)=SSR Integral, Konig Tantrum looks like about 18 other wheels, who knows who made it first. Konig Rhythm looks just like some wheel made by Blitz... and the list goes on and on. so, IMHO, they are good wheels, and they look good (the finish on both my sets have been very good), but they arent the most original wheels on the market. Overall they are a good value.

I had a bad experience w/ TSW...
So personally, i'd say STAY AWAY FROM THEM...
I had the TSW Imola's about 4 yrs ago...
I drove on them for about 6 months & NEVER hit a pothole...
One day while my car was on a lift I decided to check em out....
Spun each wheel individually to see if any were bent...
ALL 4 WERE COMPLETELY SQUARE!

TSWs!
I'm with JerzeeMax... I have TSW 17s and I drive all over NYC/NJ with them for the past 4 months (through the snowy-est winter!)
After potholes here and there, snow and salt, they are quality stuff... solid piece of metal. Konigs are knockoffs. TSWs old skool stuff are great but the newer models are *#&@*! Just bear in mind that there are no aftmarket wheels that won't bend going over major potholes at higher speeds (just some won't look as bad as others). Also, given time, sand will produce dings and scratches, on any wheel.
If you want quality, definitly go with the TSWs over Konig.

the GTR
the GT-R is one that i dont think i've ever seen another version of, so that might be an original design... but i kinda doubt it. i thought of some more that konig knocked-off though. Konig Traffic=Advan RG and the Konig Rated R looks alot like the Volk TE-37.
Sounds to me like both of them are decent wheels... but obviously if you go driving through the trails of the rocky mountaints on 18" wheels with 30 series tires you are gonna bend em, so dont... try to stay on the smooth roads and away from potholes and 90mph hehe.

I heard TSW is a bit on the soft side. Konig are more solid but also heavier. The paint and finish on them are the same. The price difference between the two are like $25 per rim. Just get which ever model you can find in 8" wide.
