gtech, very inaccurate!

anyone have any good experiences with the older gtech model, the one that looks like a radar detecter. with the new gtech pro comp meter, i timed a quarter mile at 14.6@94.59 mph. with the old one, i couldnt do any better than 15.44@94.33 mph. It wasnt just me, my friends also had really horrible times. my friend with a 95 lexus sc400 with 2.5" full exhaust and BFI intake mod ran a 14.58@96.24 mph on the new gtech and ran a 15.67@95.87 on the older one, also my friend with a stock 99 bmw 325i auto ran a ridiculous 14.3@107.5 on the older gtech. something is really wrong here, can anyone share their experiences with the new or old gtech?

Both are inaccurate to a certain extent, but it could be you guys might of positioned the G-tech slightly differently from the old one to the new one, plus if you drove on a different road from the new one to the old one could make the difference to. Plus they could of drove differently between the two, try going to the track, and compare your gtech times to your track times. That might show a better understanding on how accurate they really are.
