UDP, b-pipe, or GTech pro?

I already have a y-pipe and intake on my 97 5speed, and I was wondering what would be a good next mod for under $300. Which would you get, a b-pipe, or a UDP? Or does anyone know if a Gtech Pro is worth buying? I wouldn't mind getting estimated 1/4 times and hp figures. I mainly want performance but like I said I think it would be kind of neat to also have the Gtech pro. So which of the three would you buy if you were me?

Have you thought about a ECU upgrade, I know I would buy one in a second if they had one for a '99!!!!

UDP by far. B-pipe is not really going to do anything. Gtech? I'd borrow one before buying one.

I was planning on getting an ECU in the summer time when I have more money. For now I figure might as well get something cheap to hold me off till then.

Would the UDP be tough to install on a 5speed? If I bought the UDP I would need to get some smaller belts and is that all or is there anything else I would need for it?

Get the UDP, yes..you will need smaller belts. Get gates. You can get the sizes from either unorthadox's website and I believe they are in the faqs,

ECU would be nice to have. I wonder how much time it would take off of a 1/4 time.

I am having second thoughts on the UDP. It just seems like there could be too many possible problems and it kind of seems like it would just be difficult all around. Maybe I should just wait and get the ECU in the summer time.

Flavor, did you install it yourself or did you have a shop do it for you? And did you feel an increase in performance at all? Thank you guys for the replies.

VI is Middle Eastern Variable Intake (MEVI) not VI is what you have now, the stock intake manifold.

B-pipe definately. I got rid of my UDP because I didn't like the way it made my car drive (more engine vibration, hard to shift smoothly). I use to have a Stillen non-resonated B-pipe, but got rid of it because it didn't sound very good. I plan on going with a resonated B-pipe. Budget sells their stainless resonated B-pipe for $215 shipped.

Those are my next mods as well, UDP and b-pipe. They both give similar gains, it all depends on who you talk to.

Quick question, when you send your ECU into Technosquare to get it tweaked, do you tell them what mods you have on your ride so they optimize it to your setup? What I am trying to say is if I had no mods on my car and I got an ECU and then added all my other performance parts, would I receive less power as I would if I got the ECU after I added all my performance parts?

Yes I did. I did notice a slight difference. Nothing extreme. I seemed to accel quicker. But I did the UDP before my Y, ECU, and flywheel. Im sure with all these installed now, if I were to pull it off I would notice a bigger loss.
One mod usaully gives gains to others.
