Question about Blose and front of Max (pic)

Few quick questions.
When I got the max the blose radio did not light up, no display. I took this one out of the Z a while back and wanted to see if it would work as a replacement for the one in the max. Do the connections look the same?

<img src="http://64.37.117.80/blose2.jpg">
I also noticed the drooping piece of plastic on the front clip. It does have holes at the ends like a plastic clip should be holding it up but when I push it up it does not match up with anything on the fascia. I couldn't secure it anywhere. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Thanks,
John

ok..
I figured out the first one, the radio worked but the front channels were very low and that bose radio is setup for a 5ch system so it has no fader. nogo..
Does anybody here have a 93 GXE? If so can you tell me if your front fascia looks like the one in the picture above. I cant seem to figure out why those pieces are drooping like they are. Is that normal? I cant see anywhere to clip those things up. Can you help?
Thanks,
John

NightRider, are we talking about the same thing?

Directly below the turn signal, the drooping piece.. This keeps water and tools out of the engine bay? Does anybody just have a picture of the front of a GXE I could look at?
Later,
John

exactly!
Yes, the piece below the turn signal.. Like I said in the original post I pushed it up but it does not match up with the hole in the fascia. There is a hole at the end of the drooping piece and a hole in the fascia but the hole on the fascia is way back and does not line up with the drooping piece. So something musta fallen off..i guess. Can anybody look at their Max for me to see where or how its suppose to be supported?
Thanks,
John
PS: ran a 12.6@111 at gateway this mornin in the Z! Have had perma-grin ever since..

yeah i looked on mine and that is where my fogs go. i'm not sure if the gxe's had fogs or not. maybe it did once upon a time and when they got taken off it started drooping. you'll need to talk to a gxe guy. maybe try on the third gen forum.
btw, nice run!
