what rpm does the 2nd outlet open up at? I installed a 2k maxima muffler on my 98 Altima and im not sure if it is working properly. BTW the hangers fit perfect on the 98 Altima and the muffler is about 2 inches longer. I was suprised they were the same.

How are you testing it? Inside of the
muffler should be a valve that senses
exhaust pressure. On a Max, the valve
should open between 2k-2.4k RPM. You
have to add load to your car. If you
simply try to rev the engine while parked,
you won't generate enough exhaust pressure
no matter what RPM you're at.
