Also, to add in some actual numbers, Stephen Max gained around 20hp and 15tq at various places across the powerband switching from the MEVI to the 00VI, along with better area under the entire curve. This was at 11.5 psi... I've got to believe the gains would be even better when pushing 16-18 psi. (Stephen Max's dyno thread)

I had to used a counterbore with a giude on a drill press and mill a recess for the washer to sit in the girdle. The bolts are a little short, aparently ARP has a newer set out. It took me 5 min to do, clean up took longer. Chased all the holes, used the ARP lube and they all torqued down fine. Now I need to have the pistons notched for squirter clearance

I think there needs to be a hall of fame for the funniest signatures.
Rasta Man you sound like a d.i.c.k.
Give Mardi Gras due credit - anyone who actually turns up to race at a track instead of on the street deserves respect and anyone who can run sub-13s in a 3,000lb four door sedan deserves their *** to be kissed...though I'lll pass on the kiss.
AWESOME STUFF MARDIGRAS! YOU THE MAN!

I'm hoping to crack 15s on January 2nd, 2006 in a 1996 A32 Stillen SMX I/H/E Automatic.

Rasta was being sarcastic ...
He was giving props...
Old therad ... hmm, I wonder how management will take to this
There are quite a few bolt on auto A32's in the 14's, so it wont be too much of an accomplishment.

Caesar runs real low 14's and he's pretty much stock - hasn't even got VI of any sort that almost all of the other 14s Maxes have. 00VI is definitely the way to go to bypass the restrictive 5,500rpm doldrums that the stock intake manifold provides (rather curses) us with.
Cheers though nmemax.
BTW - sorry RASTA.

. Those MPH's at the end of the 1/4 are just plain disgusting. Now we need video proof that you didn't swap out the Max for a 911TT on those runs
.
