Hey guys,

I looked inside the wheel well (behind the tire) and saw that my shocks are leaking, the boot is shraded in several points and the ride quality is gone to heck. The rod that goes inside of the shock is chewed up by salt.

Where can I get the lowest price for shocks?

I am interested in Tokicos, Koni or KYB (if I cannot get a good price on the lowered setup.)

Please let me know

P.S. Any one with KYB and lowered springs?. Do they last or they suck?

Your stock suspension setup is shredded. How did that happen?

www.shox.com has good prices on suspension parts.

Hey, Thanks for the response

That is the boot around the rod that is shreaded. It let the water and salt of the winter to get to the shaft and make start the degradation.
I saw in tirerack.com that they sell the boots and mounts for the KYB. Can I use these with other shocks? (say, tokicos?).

Thanks,

Carlos A.

You should considered replacing those boots b/c boots are cheaper to replace than shocks or even struts...

Have you called Nissan to see how much the dust boot(I think the proper name might be bumper bound) is?
