Hey went to the track tonight. Lots of fun. Best time, 15.059@93.547mph. 60 foot was 2.349. Do you think I could get in 14's though? I think I can. It was hard for me to start good because I would roll at the line and then the staging would go off. I have no desire to go back because it seemed hard on the car.(Probably took off a 1yr of life!) I did like 15 runs. Weather was in the mid to upper 70's. Be honest, is this time really crappy for a first timer? Mods in sig. Thanks, Steve

thats a good time, with a little more practice you should get some better times. Maybe new tires would help.

Congrats on your times! I won't be any help on your other questions though cause I have not been to the track yet either.

try the following to get into the 14s.

be the first in your lane to go by forfeiting a run when your time comes by letting others behind you go. you engine will be cooler and you'll gain 1 mph traps.

deflate front tires, you must experiment. i went down to 24 psi as optimal on my dad's bonneville. boost rear tire pressure to 45 psi for less rolling resistance.

good luck.
