i went to my cousins apartments tonight to swap my springs but on the first lug i touch, the bolt that the lug screws on to, breaks off!! two more lugs on the same tire were really tight, like the one that broke off, so i left it alone. all the others lugs around the car came off perfectly fine. what should i do now? is this an expensive fix-up and can i take it to any small shop, like NTW or Discount Tires to fix rather than nissan? or can i do it myself? thanks

 

This is not a major problem... but you will need a new lug stud... you can go to the dealer NTB or the like... or you can do it yourself... it requires the caliper to be removed and you tapping the old stud out and tapping the new stud back in...this is not the complete instructions, but Daniel B. Martin had a complete write up so look it up, it was very complete and precise to what needs to be done...
