lubricating chassis

I have a 98 maxima and want to lubricate the chassis with some grease, but i don't know at which points to lubricate. I know i need a grease gun & grease, but i have no idea where to point it at under the car. I have a Haynes manual but it didn't answer my question either. Can anyone help?

You don't have anything to lubricate with a grease gun under your car. All tie rods and ball joints are lubed for life.

Really? Just out of curiosity, why is considered a regular maintainence task in some cars but not ours?

Would you rather have parts that require lube that don't last as long as the lubed for life parts? IMHO it's just the way they are designed and they work well so why mess with it? People that do put grease in steering/suspension parts sometimes over grease them and create entry poins for dirt and water.

Why? Because the car doesnt have any chassis points that are designed to need regular lubrication.

I definitely appreciate the fact that our cars have a higher quality of design. I just assumed that all cars were designed similarly and therefore needed similar maintainence. Thanks for explaining it to me and being patient with my lack of knowledge of car design.
