I had the Nokyas in my Max for about a month with my stock headlight harness and the headlight sockets melted ruining my bulb and it's male connectors. So after replacing the harness with an APC upgrade harness and new Nokya bulbs, they work just fine with no problems. Moral of the story is, get the upgrade harness.

What Should I Do?

I too have these bulbs with a stock harness. How should I go about getting this fixed so it won't melt? I've only had them in for 3 days. I think I'll remove them till i can get this fixed. How much do you think this will cost? Thanks for any help!!

The harness is about $30. I bought a new one last week cause I screwed up the one I had before while trying to modify it.

Ok, i guess i will go ahead and upgrade my harness. Will the lights be more powerful (brighter) with a new harness? Where should I get the apc harness and what should i expect to pay?

Lights will be a little brighter, not a huge difference, but a noticable one. I got mine for about $30, but that's at dealer cost, I'm not sure how much it is otherwise. No more than $60
