I'm new here so I don't know if this has been posted before, but how many people have a name for their Maxima? I named mine Maxine, prety generic, but it has a nice ring to it. Kinda like BB King's guitar Lucile.

 

I call mine POS alot

 

...as opposed to naming his guitar Gibson.

I call my car slow, POS works, Maxine is good also, but mostly, i call her my b!tch.

I tried naming her once but it proved to be difficult. She can be a real PITA, a lot of fun, in need of care, proud, and humbling (other cars, especially supposed sports cars) to name a few attributes. So I gave up and decided to just refer to her as, "Baby".

My car's name is unique, its simply Max. And my 85 RX7 GSL-SE's name is Monty. My wife named both of them and I had f@ck all to do with it, lol!

 

All I can come up so far is "Pearl" but that's not very creative and it makes her sound like an old lady. I'll have to think of a better name. My old Maxima was Svetlana. Don't know why...

Personally I think naming your car is stupid. If any of my friends did that I would probably be forced to kick them in the teeth

 

Gracie...since it is Gray Lustre in color. Naming a car is a family tradition, remember old jeep GC, a green one named Jade...etc.

my friends and i have been naming cars since high school. female names were not required, but the name had to fit the car. it took me a long time to get behind the wheel of something that didn't annoy the **** out of me in some way, glad to finally have soemthing to be proud of. the roll call:
