I like'm. Service is great. You possibly could pay less for the maxima insurance wise at geico or something but you cant beat great service. USAA has been good to me so I have no complaints with them.

I have USAA. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I also pay much, much less than anyone else has been willing to quote.

I'm probably one of the few people who have bad experience with them. I requested a QOUTE on a 90 Nissan D21 back when I first heard of them from my brother. Couple of years later... I bounced a check...I shouldn't have, I had $200 set aside at all times in the account. I called and asked what happened... and loe and behold.

A payment for a 1990 Nissan D21. I asked how that was possible? "Well you authorized it" I was so dumbstruck "How can I authorize insurance for a truck I haven't even owned for 2 years now?"

So they straightened it all out, and did it again 2 months later. Worst part is, they qouted me $187 for liability. I didn't even pay $180 for full coverage on a 02 Frontier when I was single.

They can be outragous. Of course I've heard of some horror stories with Geico. They'll qoute you a price, and charge you more and random figures each month.

If you have a clean record... State Farm.

I like em because the wife works there. I have no complaints that I can ever think of. I have their home, car, and life insurance with USAA, I bank with USAA and they have some really good services in my opinion.

DITO. Great company and best qoute I've ever recieved when it came to car insurance. Banking services are awesome. The worst thing I can think of when it comes to this company is there merchandise catalogues (They offer alot of different services). Between selection and pricing I could never see this particular service as more than a joke.

Yeah I thought you had to be in the military for USAA. My brother has it and he has an 01 Max and he pays less than me with full coverage and I'm under my Mom's business.

Ive had them for about 3 yrs now i think. They were a bit more than the other companies, but the service is great and down the road in the long run being a member of the military (AF) and sticking with them over time i can only assume it will keep getting even better.

I was set up with them from my dad being in the military too. Whenever I need a quote about a car they always explain the details you dont know about how they do it and what is counted in it and everything. Its the only car insurance company I have been with but they are great.

Hands down the best. I'm on my 5th car (two current) through them and I wouldn't give them up for anything. Customer service is outstanding! Also, when you call you get educated people that speak English.

God I love military benefits!

I'm definately agreeing with everyone about the customer service--probably the best I've ever had when dealing with something over the phone. I don't think I've waited more than 10 or 15 seconds either for a rep to pick up the call. My folks ended up switching to a local carrier but USAA did at least offer to match the quote from their new carrier.

The benefits can be extended to two generations after the original members who were in the military. Both of my parents were in the military so when I finally get hitched and have kids, they will all be on it too. I also have my car loan and a credit card from them. Hands down the best customer service out of any product available due to the fact that this service was originally for officers in the military.

I wish my experience had been this good. And which number did you guys call? Cause a couple of times I called I got someone who could hardly speak english.

But I do know I pay less for 2 full coverages and liability than my brother does for full and liability through USAA. And he's married too and doesn't have any tickets.

Of course, my parents time with State Farm counted toward mine... so I have over 10 years with them... LOL

I was with Progressive before but switched back to USAA after they quoted a much better rate. Every place should give you great service, USAA is no exception.

Dad was in the military too.

That guy w/ the really hooked up green max had some issues after his car got vandelized in daytona I think, they were too expensive for me, went w/ Geico. Good place to deal w/ other then that i think, especially if your an officer and not lower enlisted

I have a friend that I used to work with, her husband was in the AF. They have USAA. She works for Progressive. She had an accident and they told them it would take 4-6 weeks for her to receive her check for her totalled Ford Explorer. She ended up having to get a loan to buy another SUV because she had to have something to drive. Good thing was that she got an unbelievable rate on her loan. I know I'd use them if I were in the military!!

Just to add, I got pre-approved for an auto loan by USAA yesterday. It was a 100% positive experience. Good service and a great product.

Same here. In San Antonio it was more expensive than Geico. But here overseas it's the cheapest.
