a quality catback is always nice, but goodluck getting a 4th gen vq to sound good without headers. if you can make a catback that has a great sound and isnt as ridiculously priced as an sp2 then you would probably have a good number of buyers.

Im at the point of outrage.
This is why i have spent over $1000 on catbacks they all promise high quility SS but there not my greddy rusted to pieces and now my cattman b-pipe is almost gone.
Some cars can get 100% 304 SS and flanges for good prices we get garbage material wise made exhausts.
Ive said this time and time again i want kitchen sink SS !!!!!!!!!!!
When this cattman b-pipe falls off ill go back to stock exhaust and use a cutout because im done wasting money.

If a exhaust can be made to change my mind ill buy it but i want 100% 304 SS,many cars have them why cant we.

Oh i like the second pic

[most] maxima owners are way to cheap to spend money on a quality product that you would produce. BUT........

I would like to see what you would make, especially a 3" header back exhaust.

i'd like one, with the "stock style" but like some others have said, its gotta sound nice, if you could get the sound like an sp2, or a WS, that would be sweet, but again the price is a big issue

I'd buy an 2.5 Axle-back that has this look and isn't super loud.

what about a dual exhaust like on custommaxima.com? That would be something I would lay down the $ for, something that does not sound ricey, just a tiny bit upbeat, increased flow and power.

If it could have the sound of a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler, and have the body shape of a magnaflow 14827.. I would be all over it.

I agree. The 3rd and 5th gens have the dual tips stock and I would rather have had one of those if given a choice. I already have a GReddy SP, though.

If you do one for 3rd gens (doubtful, as most 3rd gen owners are broke), I think the dual tip would go over a lot better than a single tip.

A sleek stock style muffler preferably stainless steel and 2.5 inches all the way back. I have a greddy SP which i love but it is dying of rust and i would love a nice stainless replacement with 2.5 ID piping.

A 2.5" and 3" option would be ideal, but it must sound great. Similar to a 350Z/G35 sound would be amazing. I guess the catman sounds like that with the header setup.

Can it be made with SS that won't rust, and sound similar to the 350Z/G35?
