cylinders aren't firing?

my cylinders aren't firing at low rpms and i believe it may be something do to with the fuel injectors b/c i recently ran out of gas and it may have sucked up some sludge. What is the best way to check my fuel injectors and harnesses?

What year is your car and how many miles you have on the clock?

The fuel injectors are protected by the fuel filter, sludge is not your problem.

Does your car start and idle?

Please describe your problem a bit more in detail.

i accidetly ran out of gas and then i filled up about 1/4 tank then took it to the shop for an oil change. there he changed the oil and put on a udp that i had laying around. When i took off it still felt like my car was about to run out of gas[ you know real choppy like that] and now here i am. I am goin to try to replce my fuel filter. Can you buy those at auto-zone?

Replace the fuel filter and use Chevron Techron Concentrate fuel system cleaner or the Techron injector cleaner. Add the cleaner when the tank is empty then fill up afterward.
