Car Squeals on Start Up

I recently replaced my car battery with a Kirkland brand battery from Costco. The car definitely starts up much faster in the mornings with the new battery. However, it also makes a loud high-pitched squeal noise when it starts up after it's been sitting for awhile (i.e. overnight). Once I've driven the car around the block or something, the car won't squeal when I start it up again.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with my car?

Sorry if this is a stupid question or if it's been repeated in the past. Darn search functionality is still disabled.

From my Google searching, I assumed it was a belt problem since it was squealing. Is there any way for me to tell which belt it is? One of my co-workers told me that I may also need to scrub down the pulley because the belt may be polishing it. Is this something I should do in addition to tightening the belt or am I okay to skip it? I've been driving with this squeal about a week now.
