It seems that every person that has installed a S/C on their Maxima, has had some type of problem with it.
Jose, MattP,JJW. It's very odd that all of them have developed problems. The only person that I know of who hasn't had a problem is David L7.
What could possibly be going on here?
What happened to Yvettes PokeMax? Is she still around?
I think the S/C owners should get together and do some serious complaining. Something is really amiss hers.

Mine has been trouble free(2nd Gen V1)

knock on wood. I think Stillen had the 2nd Gen V1 working well. I know of a few guys who had problems with the 1st gen v1.

Know they swithed to the v2 and it sounds like there are a few bugs in that system.

S/C problems are why I won't get one...yet

Not until I get another car will I consider S/Cing my Max. There are just too many problems when installing these blowers. I want to know how to diagnose the problems too. I need to find a shop that is capable of a good install. I also want to watch them so I can see how exactly it works.

It seems so simple though (I'm sure it's not). Tap into the oil pan, tap into the fuel line, install fuel regulator, do a little wiring, bolt up the mounting bracket and S/C, run the belts, mount the intake system, setup the BOV vacumn lines, wire in a boost gauge and A/F gauge. What else is there?

it's REAL easy on paper. until you get into it then it's a huge PITA. you have to grind off parts of the alternator and etc. things normally don't go as plan...IE broken bolts...problem with certain part..etc etc..
but it's do able..just need a LOT of time.
