spoiler or not to spoiler?

well i converted my front and rear ends to the 97-99 style. turned out nice.

me and tilley had some complications with my oem spoiler from my 96 trunklid so i have been riding around naked on the rear end. at first i was hellbent on getting the spoiler back on...but now its kind of wearing on me.

it doesnt look quite as sporty, but its a bit more 'stealth'. just wondering on some opinions of whether or not i should put the spoiler back on.

another option is to get the lip spoiler, which i think would look nice as well. it has that kind of in between the oem spoiler and nothing look.

i am putting the emblems on along with keeping the orange turn signals

i'll go ahead and toss the new front end pics in for the heck of it.

pics...

thanks for any input!

Your car is very beautiful and looks fine the way it is, but I'm use to seeing a spoiler on my car so I like it better with the spoiler. Your car looks very clean and the 5th gen wheels make the car look real "sporty" as is, so maybe get the lip spoiler if you want. Keep the orange turn signals !

Paul, i think the car would look really good with the m style lip spoiler. Have you thought about doing the stillen kit?

Btw your car looks really good

i only recently got a spoiler, and i do admit that it didn't look bad without a spoiler.

But i always felt i was missing something.

with the spolier added that rear just looks more complete.

But thats just my honest opinion

I would go with a lip spoiler (then I will know what it looks like so I can decide if I want it )

-the car looks slow

Looks real clean with or without it....but youve got an SE - How many SE's are there w/out spoilers? Think of it that way, there may be a few...but not many.

I say leave it how it is - No wing = less weight

The car is very nice and awesomely clean. It looks good without a spoiler but would look great with one. Can't really identify with an SE w/o a spoiler.

Put the spoiler back on, it looks good now but with the spoiler it would look better in my opinion.

You've got to go with the spoiler. If not for you, do it for all of us who have spoilers a little farther down our list of improvements.

I say if you want any thing at all on the trunk just get the lip spoiler, but my opinion is leave it as is it looks so much sleeker.

I would say put a wing on the back that can exert some downforce....just kidding.

Definitely no spoiler, it's cleaner without. The spoiler was a late 90's thing (you know it's played out when Kia's and Geo's and Suzuki's started having them as standard equip).

I hope you mean the standard one and not the STi one...

either way I think it would look dumb on a Maxima

I think the standard spoiler could look pretty good, its not that different from our OEM spoiler.

I'm on the get the spoiler and Red clears side, you've love it.

I think it'll look good with or without the spoiler. Why not try it without for a while just for something different? My car didn't come with a spoiler and I am holding off on purchasing one cause I kinda like how it looks (plus I have no money). So many people have spoilers now that it's somehow unique without one. If you wanna see my Max with no spoiler check out my Car Domain.

Leave it alone or get the trunk lip spoiler... I think it's awesome that you have a 12 second car that (other than the drop and wheels) looks completely stock.
