Aftermarket Cigarette Lighter Plug?

When I bought my Max it was missing the cigarette lighter plug. Has anyone bought a nice polished metal aftermarket plug or anything like that? I'd be curious to see pics. Otherwise I'll probably just get a stock replacement.

At first I thought you just wanted an aftermarket one for the hell of it.

Just get the stock one. I dont ever think ive heard of anyone making them or wanting them.

I think I've seen those type-r ones at the store. I can't see myself spending 20 dollars on that because I don't even smoke =)

I know, I don't smoke (just the occasional cigar but certainly not in my Max, too much precious animal hide) but the empty metal hole is bothering me. I figured a nice polished aluminum one could look good, but it wouldn't really match my interior on second thought.

Anyone know if the 350Z plug will fit? There's one on eBay and it looks nicer than the 4th gen one.

My car has a plastic plug that looks like a lighter, but doesn't work. It's probably a nissan part.

Cigarette lighters are all the same (that's how all 12V plugs work in all cars). I bought a replacement for my missing cig lighter for 4 bucks at Autozone.

I know this is off topic, but why is the ashtray covered with that felt or plastic stuff? doesn't it burn if someone puts out a cig. in it? not that anyone has dared smoking in my car..... lol.

You can get a cool looking one like a race car switch, type r or Razo. All these will enhance the look of the interior if OEM is not good enough.

Get a stock one if you can. You don't want some crackhead breaking into your car for your cigarette lighter.
