Mssing Dead Pedal replacement?

When I bought my Maxima, it was missing a dead pedal. My question is, can I buy a replacement set of pedals from ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

My car is completely missing the dead pedal, will the replacement dead pedal be able to replace it? It says "no modifications necessary", so I'm guessing it goes on top of the stock dead pedal...

There was a group deal on nice machined aluminium pedals from AutoVation, they were also selling a dead pedal only if you didn't want the whole set, my vynyl "dead pedal" was long gone when I got my I30, so this was an awesome replacement, I got the whole set and fitment is awesome. GD is closed currently, but you can contact them at www.AutoVation.net As an alternative, I've heard of some people using a 350Z deadpedal and chopping off most of the black plastic backplate to level it off. You might check with some of the one's who have done that if you like that idea, personally, I like the AutoVation pedal, very nicely done, quality machining, perfect fitment.

that is the exact problem i had and that is the exact pedal set that i got, except i got it from SWA.

It fits pretty well. I think it looks ghetto because you can see the rubber original pedals through the holes of the Nokya pedals.

cheap solution is to buy grip tape and stick it where the old was.

i had the same problem, that lil plastic piece fell off, i went to autozone and got this cheap chrome plastic piece that fit perfectly, i think its made to go above the exhaust. It sounds cheesier than it is, but i like it.

Anyone tried these yet? OBX GT-5G looks like they would fit nicely.

you take off the rubber on the clutch and brake, and screw them in, the gas pedal is screwed directly into the rubber, since it doesnt come off, and the dead pedal is screwed into the carpet

I might be interested in the Autovation Pedals when the GD starts up again. I was just noticing how much easier it would be to heel toe with them compare to the stock ones.
