i was trying to jack the whole rear end of my car. i placed the jack in the center of my rear beam thing and as it was going up, i started hearing a ppsssttt noise so i lowered the car back down and the struts were leaking. what to do now? just leave it as it or is it time to change em? they are stock shocks with 65k miles on em. thanks

So you have Apex Springs on your stock struts? If so, then you shouldn't be surprised that they blew. How many miles have you had this suspension setup?

Yup, change the shocks and struts -->

try KONI adjustables (they are nice but require some work though). Or you could do like most of us did, get Tokico, they fit as is (no mods). The next step (down) is KYB GR-2, they also fit in the stock setup but they are only a notch better than stock.

You could still drive with thosebut -->

that may not be good for the rest of the suspension components, lots of bottoming and even oscillations (vibrations as if the tires were unbalanced).
I would say change them soon.

well at this point the gas/oil will leak more and more. after 2-3 days you'll hear clunking from that sound. then you'll feel that the one wheel s running w/o a strut. if u decide to let it go like that for long damage to your tire will occur.
