In I think it was motor Trend they have a celica that is turtle charged and all wheel dvive. It looked pretty nice till I saw the price tag $500,000 is this a frikin misprint. I know a celica can run low 13s easy with a little NOS and slicks. But for a lot less $$ than $500,000

Ultimate Celica

Dude, it's a one-off concept car. It might have cost $500,000 to build, but thats because everything had to be custom built for it (I'm guessing it was hand built too). You'd never see such a Celica for 500k, especially when you can replicate that kind of power for a fraction of that.

It was in Car & Driver, not motor trend The car could run a lot faster, they just dont do it b/c It is mainly a show car. I think what cost so much is the carbon fiber body

I saw that car at the NOPI Nationals. It is so custom. Widebody kit, 19"s, custom bodywork. Even the big brake kit has custom rotors that have the Toyota emblem etched in them instead of drillings or slots.

Celica

saw one today at the delareship...It was $38,000...Had big tires, new rims, air scoop on front, adjustable HUGE spoiler, Big exhaust, new suspension, side skirts, lowering kit, ect....I mean it looked REAL tight, but I would never spend $38,000 on a celica...especially one that only had a 17 horsepower boost from the stock GTS.
