I picked up my RSB from DrewSupercharged this morning and installed that puppy. Its definitly a nice piece of hardware, solid bar and nice aluminum brackets.
The RSB is a night and day difference on any turn. It smooths out alot of the old rough bumpiness i had in the back and makes you feel like your riding on rails
Took about 40min to install, thats including removing/installing tires too.
I set the bar just behind the rear-log and the bolts to the inner most holes on the bar itself. It was the only way to make the RSB sit behind the rear axel to give me the clearance for a decent jack point. I highly reccomend this mod if you have lowering springs and FSTB. It will be worth every penny!!

The RSB makes you wanna take the car out and just drive around in circles, doesn't it?

GTR_Rider: Sorry but i had no time to do a full right up on it or take pics for that matter. But i can say that it was a fairly simple install. For the install you have to jack the car up on 2 jack stands about 3ft off the ground and obviously pull the rear tries off as well. As for the install it took maybe 40min. I set the bar just behind the rear axel. This left me enough room to get a jack up under there if i ever had to. And when i mounted the bar up to the brackets i used the inner most holes on the RSB itself [0 0 0 0].

**ROAD TEST**
Last night i went for a cruise and really put the thing to the test! I hit these two 15MPH turns on some back windy road at 55MPH back to back and was like holy *hit!!!!! never letting off the gas either...
My car made the turn and NOT one squeak or hesitation. I felt as though i was on a track and had no chance of losing-it. It definitly eliminated that maxima body roll almost 100% and my 2 other friends can vouch for that

I think maybe today i will do some donuts in my court to celebrate
Goodluck with it and if you need any other help E-mail me

ny96maxse or others with sway bar, how is the ride in the rear react to bumps in the road both in turns and straights? Right now I just hate how my rear end shakes and skips when going over bumps/cracks during a turn and was wondering if a sway bar would help in this situation.

i definitly noticed a difference just at normal crusing spped around town. The rear end fells like uniform now, now sloppy and very rough on small bumps. Its a very noticable change in the ride, buts its all good!
I love my RSB and i dont know why id didnt get one sooner. As for the extra sounds in the rear, NOT one extra resonance or squeak AT ALL. So i guess its personal opinion of what you hear and feel.

I feel you on this one man, I have the FSTB from Courtesy Nissan, Intrax Springs (yea I am sittin low and I love it)
and the Stillen RSB, I love corners so much more now!, I just drove to ATL Saturday for the Ferrari Challenge at Road ATL, I got my directions off the Net, which led me from Knoxville TN to Gainsville GA, on HWY 74 and the Hwy 129, Which runs right through the Mountains, needless to say this was a very good 3 hour drive, on the way there I ended up behind someone on the way down the mountain which is only one lane, up the mountain is two lanes. Well on the way up I made great use of the two lane drive up the mountain. There were hardly any cars there and when there where they were going alot slower than I was and I was able to weave my way up that mountain without one problem, (oh I just got my Kumhos put on three days earlier, and to make a long story short, I made it up the mountian about 5 mins faster than I got down it, and I had it bacisally flored the whole way up the mountain.
1997 Nissan Maxima- $14,000
Kumho Tires-$450-
Intrax Springs- $100
FSTB- $100
Stillen RSB- $was on the car when I bought it
Great handling Maxima + Great two lane Mountain highway- Priceless!!

He is around PA, so you can get the RSB from him....excellent pricing.

Honest Gentleman on top of that.

It seems as though phuong may have bitten off more than he can chew with these recent group deals due to shipping problems from stillen and people backing out. I was in the original RSB group deal and i'm still waiting for my bar. That was about a month ago maybe more. I'm not venting, just letting you guys know that if you order from phoung it might take awhile.

Are you sure you have the right person? I've never done a group deal on Stillen rear sway bars for the Maxima and I have no open orders on rear sway bars according to my records.
