Hey Everyone

I recently insatalled a new cat on my 1998 nissan maxima. No it was not an RT. Shortly after the check enging light came on and I pulled the above error code. Does this error code signafy the cat being the problem. My mechanic said that putting this brand Cat would set the enging light off and I should only install the RT cat. Was he correct

i think that you should of disconnected the battery before hand. but just reset the chip. if there is a problem it will go off again. you can put any cat on you want. nissan will only replace a oem cat with an oem cat. whats up with that?
