I'm looking into buying a Max this summer and I'm wondering which year will be better to buy perfomance wise. I know that the 95' 96' Maximas are the faster out of the bunch, however I do not like the way they look. I would appreciate all your input.

Thanks.

buy a 97

it doesn't have digital ODO
you can use a 95 or 96 ECU
it looks at 98 and 99
its cheaper

Yeah, but 97 doesn't come in Sterling mist. The best color for the max. =)

just have to make sacrifices.. I know you would rather have an ECU upgrade than that sterling mist color

you can always make your 97 Sterling Mist
but you can't make your 99 work with a 95/96 ECU
