Quick question . .

I just got a 2 ton jack and stands, the jack goes to 15.25inches i beleive
I tested it out and put the front in the air using the lifting point (crossmember?) when a few ???s arose.

First- with the front in the air with the jack, do I position the jackstands along the (what seems to be) framerails, or closer to the wheel (around the tie-rods and such)? I have heard NOT to use the points on the body because a unibody frame is weak in these areas.

Second- Is my next step to lower the car onto these jackstands in their proper positions and lift the rear of the car with the front being supported by the jackstands?

Third- What point do I use to raise the rear?/ Where to place jacks?

This may seem so simple and that's fine but I am new with jack/stands and working on the Max in general so I want to be sure before I start.

Most of the things I have looked at have just said "Step 1- raise car on stands" with no pics so if I missed something you can post a link.

Sorry if I have used up a thread that could be used to talk about boost or HID conversions but I would rather do the work on my car than pay a shop who doesn't care about it and I have to start somewhere.

Thanks
