Anyone use PC based Diagnostic Software

Does anyone know of or use PC based diagnostic software to read the codes, monitor/datalog the sensors & fuel map on a 96 Max? I have found some that will work on my 91 300Z.

I am interested in this for my 2000 Max. What software and hardware do you need?

These interfaces consist of a cable which connects between the serial port of a laptop and the Consult Port of Nissan vehicles. Software is then run on the laptop which allows various diagnostic functions to be accessed. A genuine Consult connector is used.

It includes the following features:

* Real time monitoring of RPM, speed, injector pulsewidth, injector duty cycle, TPS position, AFM voltage, speed, idle valve opening %, IGN timing, coolant temp, battery volts etc. All displayed on nice pseudo-analog gauges.

* Basic data logging on all parameters (data is saved to a .csv file so you
just need to load in into Excel to display/graph it).
* Read and reset fault codes
* Active tests like power balance (knocks one cyl out at a time), fuel
pump on/off, VCT control, temporary changes to values for coolant
temp, IGN timing, AAC valve (for idle adjustment) etc.
* ROM read

Confused Its hard to read what each gauge does from that screenshot - it does say its just in blue

There's an small (60x35x28mm) interface box in the cable which converts the data. The interfaces have been tested on a list of vehicles which is growing by the day but includes the following:

* AUS 200SX S14 (SR20DET)
* AUS 200SX S15 (SR20DET)
* AUS Maxima A32 (VQ30DE)

^ I have that one. I also have digimoto and a few others. They work well but our POS is so slow that it's sometimes as pain to do live data monitoring. I can hook my laptop along with the interface box to other cars and many are much faster and have better samoling rates than out POS 8 or 16 bit ECU. For clearing codes it's awesome. Click a button and that's it.
