Which Color Neons for the Interior?
Which Color Neons for the Interior?
Wuts up fellow maxers!
As much of you probably know i have the Smoke 6th gen with the grey carpet interior and i was thinking of adding interior neons to make the interior glow.
Since the dash lights are orange and the needles are red, orange being the dominant color in the car. Which color neons should i get? Orange or Red?
Keep in mind i dont want a ricey look, i just want it to look suttle and give a hint that there is something going on inside the cabin, when people pass by.

dont go orange...go with the red. reason being it wont hurt your night vision at all. i have red under all my seats and the dash. they are 12 inch bulbs and only give off enough light to see your feet... you cant see it at all from outside unless your standing next to the car looking in. its not a ricey look which i think you would have if you could see it from the outside.

not all neons look ricey, ive had my undercar kit for years and as long as its done right it can look nice, but on mine u dont see any bulbs just the soft glow, my cars low enough where u only see a hint, not a big ball of glow
as far as interior goes, i have many, and it was very hard to make them look good.

IMHO, I like neons, ricey or not, so long as it's done right. F--- what other people say.
Stalldaworld nice install on the neons, but they are still a little too bright, i was panning on installing my lights a bit higher into the dash so it wouldnt be as bright.
On the matter of the ricey look. If its a subtle look and not bright to a point where everyone wants to stare then its ricey. If a cops pulls me over becuase he can see them then its ricey. Im looking to install these for a more "stealthy" look.
