Car and Driver Race Challenge?

I just saw the ad in my C&D mag. Anyone do this before? Sounds kinda fun actually. Here's the link to the site for more info.

I'm guessing high powered meaning your own car? Seems this event is for people to push their own cars to the limit.

There is a similar event that they have where they allow you to auto-X higher end cars(ie. lexus, mercedes, bmw, etc.)

errr, the road race/autoX part of precisionracing is more like SCCA SOLO I.... in your own car..
you don't drive anyone else's car at all with this group.

Looks to be better than the Mazda rev-it-up, which was a huge disappointment IMO

yeah, that's a totally different thing than this.. the PrecisionRacing thing came around a few years back and was well received, but just had horrible management and zero corporate funding.. this time it's back with decent management and C&D footing the bills to get it started.

the Ride & Drive thing was totally different.

Wow, I just realized that. Should've read it more carefully. Screw that, I'm not abusing my own car for this.
