stock 17"..planning on putting 20". i have a question though. when people sit on the back seat or even if i just go do some shopping and put the stuff in the trunk, my car gets really low. i was wondering if you guys know what i can change or do so my car will pretty much be more stable in that matter, i mean like not go down so easily, i dont want to put 20s and then put something in the trunk and be rubbing all over. when i said i put something in the trunk is like 5 gallons of milk, 5 gallons of OJ, 4 gallons of apple juice and two boxes of detergent...i mean this is not (IMO) too much. i have a 2005 maxima sl. thank you !! by the way ...23"S ??? Wow !! kewl !!

you're probably being ignored. physics will tell you that when you put weight on a suspension, it lowers. you have 2 options, get a stiffer suspension, or an adjustable suspension.(or dont put stuff in the back)

btw, the guy with 23's is kidding. i know its cool down south, but that's hella-ghetto to do to a FWD car.

Get stiffer springs so the back does not drop that much or raise the back up so when you do have all that weight in the trunk, it does not get to the point where it will rub.

generally stiffer springs are always lowering springs, so you're already gonna be lower tha you may want to be. it would be good to see if you can get coil overs for your year(im sure they make them, but i dont know for certain) but that would be expensive. if you're planning on getting 20's, just go to a place that will test fit them for you, this way you can see if they rub or not. if theyre the right offset/width, you should be able to go through the whole range of motin without hitting anything.

umm so in order to get stiffer i got to go lower huh ?? coilover ?? dunno what that is...will look into that so i become familiar with it..( like i said before..i had cars before...its just the first time i am actually doing mods and stuff, before i just took my car to the mechanic and only when i needed to...so bear with me please guys !! ) well, but how can i know how low to go so i can still put 20s ?? should i just stick with some nice 18s...i dunno...the offset is how far away the center of the rims is into the rim ( sorta :/ ) rite ?? i was told i could have like 245 in the front and 255 in the back...does that sound like it will be ok ??

Wow, that's pretty hot, actually. I never knew orange would look good on a Max, but looks nice, man! I think the carbon hood makes a nice contrast also.

Thanks for the compliment, although I no longer have the front lip. I went back to a painted Stillen one. I'm also probably going to sell the hood as it's just not my taste anymore.

I'm not trying to hate or anything, but those tires look to small for a 17" wheel on a Maxima. What size are they?

205/40's. They are really, really, really tiny. But - they were free with the purchase of the wheels. So guess what? LOL They are on my car. Can't pass up brand new tired for free. -hehe- Next time, I am going to get the 45 series, but until these wear down, it's 40 series.
