Maxima.org supports urologists! OKC meet. 18 Pics (1.08mb worth)

We had a Maxima meet, in which Lance (S00NR1) organized. Here are some pictures of the Maximas that were in attendance. I thought the turnout was great. Enjoy the pictures.

"Cruising" sounds like going to the bar to me, lol! Nothing wrong with that.

Haha nah, by cruising I mean going to 39th where hundreds of ricers like to show off and making them look stupid by running them.

just curious, what kinda camera did you use to take the pictures, and did you use a tripod? In that lighting, my camera's pictures woulda all been shot to blur-hell...

The camera is a Canon 300D/Rebel, with a Canon 10D firmware hack (custom settings of 10D enabled) mated to a Canon EF 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 II USM lens and Canon EW-63II lens hood and Hoya UV filter (which I think causes glare) with a tripod.

If you want good pictures at night, you must have a DSLR for clarity. Point-and-shoot cameras suck at nighttime shots, due to their small CMOS sensor, so the camera basically has to turn up the "gain" and, in turn, causes distortion (graininess). It works kind of like an audio amplifier. DSLR's sensors are about 4 times bigger, which enables a longer shutter speed, and that will give you better shots.

I was planning to go with the OKC .org group, but there has been a change of plans due to my family. I might just leave tomorrow morning and come back tomorrow evening. The pictures will probably be worth the drive.
