Weight of motorized driver seat

Anyone know how much my Drivers side seat would weigh?
Its not leather, but it is motorized.

I'm assuming you're asking because (like all of us auto-x'ers) you want to knock off some weight. I don't have an answer for you, but suggest you take a seat out (it's pretty easy) and stand on a bathroom scale with it and without it to find out the weight

since I really didn't answer anything, consider this a free bump

(btw, your OSCAI scares me!)

Yea, I have a pretty good idea of the passenger side. I havent taken out the driver side (has the motors) so I guess what I am really asking is how much do those motors weigh? Hopefully like 10 lbs so when I throw a 15 lb CF seat in there I'll be stoked!

my 96 electric pass 45lbs driver and i bought a manuel one it was 40lbs

Sounds like you are saying that electric seats are 45 lbs and manual ones are 40?

Yes i weighed two drivers seats on my scale at work i had the electric switched to manuel to save a few lbs

Only 5 pounds? Sounds like it'll be a better option if I hit the gym and cut back on those burgers and fries.
