I've posted my angst about the situation between Don Cooper from Texas and myself before.

I would really be grateful if someone on this BBS forum could help relay this msg to Don to NOT forget about ME and to refund my money I had already paid for an intended VB upgrade I wanted for my car. However, I had to pull out in the end with Don since NO tranny shop here in my town would wanna do it for me.

What do I have to do to get my $$ back? I think I've been patient enough seeing how its been almost a month already and he did say he'd return the money to me!...is there a someone or some organization that can help me? am considering a major flame session if nothing materializes?!
think I am being as nice as I can...but it seems I'm the only one here getting jibbed...!

would really appreciate all the help I can get from my other fellow maxima enthusiasts.

or perhaps ...Don if you are reading this...(AT LEAST AN E-MAIL reply to my numerous mails from you!...yes yes, I know you are a very busy guy...but I think a few clicks on your mouse to transfer the $$ back via paypal to me is less time it'd take you to reply some of the posts I've seen him you reply to on this BBS recently.)

thank you and best regards

Don is a busy man & I'm sure he's honest...He even helped us set up some GD's for us in the past...but you can't help but notice that when you e-mail him about wanting to buy something, he is really quick to reply. =)

Tow things:

1) You really should make sure there is a shop that can do the job for you before you commited to place the order with DOn.

2) You mean Don sent you a VB that no one wants to put in, or yo mean no one will pull out the VB on your car to be sent to Don for the job? If it's the 1st case, just send the thing back, I think Don will refund the money minus the shipping and etc.

well, its this...! I jumped at the chance of getting my VB upgrade withOUT even first checking with any tranny shops in my area about the possibility of them removing and re-installing the VB.
The tranny shops were hesistant about doing it cos I told them that all I wanted was them to provide labor to remove and re-install a VB I was going to bring in with me.
with regards to Don, I have only talked to him over the e-mail. He didn't even sent me any VB, nor have I done anything...all that was done was an exchange of words from me to him to tell him that I'd do it...then I had to change my promise because of the tranny shop problems. But $$ was exchanged...via payment thru paypal to him...., but have yet to hear from him since nor gotten any refund back cept a short e-mail to tell me he'd return the money...(this was about a month ago!)

you can do the uprade yourself, it takes like 3-4 hours due to the mess of tranny fluid, but it's one of the easier mods to do. i thought it was easier than the ypipe, IMHO..

Well I had a somewhat similar situation with him.

But you will get a refund but it'll take some time that's all.
