Check out this article on Edmunds about the Subaru WRX. That is some car for the same price I paid for my Max. Handling/power make it a match for anything in its class. I want one, or at least want a couple of days to test one out.

Definetly a potent car.. though I don't like the styling changes they made. My friends gonna get one in a few weeks or whenever the dealer gets him one... maybe i'll ask for a test drive

you brought your car for space/comfort and power, WRX owner buys their car for speed and handling

I guess my van should be the best vehicle on earth (its the van behind the max in my sig picture)then
can sit up to 7,handling(double wishbone front and back), comfort (front and rear A/C + seats are huge and you don't even have to open the sliding doors they're powered) , power (210hp vtec!)

I drove a WRX last week. Unfortunatley it was an auto. The thing was a dog below 3500 rpm. But then the boost comes on hard and its a rocket. The handling is great too. This car just begs to have the 5spd.

ok..

don't flame me for my opinion... but yeah they are a great performance car for their price class or whatnot... but I would never be caught in one because of how they look.

Yeah, I drove a stick WRX last month

Took it for a 1/2 hour test drive with my dad. As soon as we left the dealership my dad pulled over and told me to take it out for the whole time. That is a fun car! I totally agree with mzmtg that is is a dog below 3500 rpm, but once you rev it hold on! If you get this car in auto, u are just damn lazy because u could never tap its full power potential. And the handling is superb!

I agree with hlh0501 that the last gen sub looked a lot better, but I love the way the hood bulges in front of you when you're behind the wheel.

Overall it is a great car, but I wouldn't compare it to a maxima because they are not even close to the same car - maxima has room, luxury, low-end torque, FWD, ok handling (needs mods) and the WRX is small, sporty interior with seats that have great lateral support, high-end hp, AWD, and amazing handling.
