Allow me to introduce myself...

Hey guys, Im new to the forum and thought I should introduce myself. I just bought my '00 last week from my brother. He had it for a month, really disliked the 5spd, so I bought it off him. I have 2 other cars that I have money dumped into, so I needed something for a reliable daily driver. The Max fit the bill. I think for the most part, the car is gonna stay stock (insert boo's and hiss's here). The only thing I might do to the car is get the windows tinted, and maybe get an intake, just so I can hear a nice tone when I romp on it.

Heres a pic of the car

I look forward to reading the forums and learning some new things....it seems like theres a lot of people on here who know what they're talking about.

I was gonna say that.

Nice car you probably don't know it yet but most of us orgers were using their max as a DD. Now some people are dumping loads of cash into their cars. (I would too if I can stop going through trannies every 6 months ) BTW what other cars do you have? Pics Please.

You can still dump money into even with 2 other cars. I've been doing it for years now... LOL

Welcome to the .org. Your parents should find comfort in the fact that they have at least one son who did not grow up to be a woos like your brother, lol!

My weekend cruiser Mustang with lots of go fast goodies. Basically the only thing left stock is the block and rotating assembly.

That's a Lincoln Mark 8? My sister's ex bf had one. Very comfortable ride. I just noticed you're in CT you should hit the regional forums up to see if there's any meets and such.

I have atleast 5k in my transmissions. My max is a money hungry *****! I still love this **** like no other. I can't find any good replacement. It's nice to have something that most people don't pull up in. welcome to the addiction

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The car would be alot better with alot of things, but I PROMISED myself I would leave it alone, lol. But as any gearhead knows, "stock" isnt in their vocabulary, so its really hard for me not to mod it, hah.

Welcome, and enjoy your stay. After the intake, and tint, pluys a little time on here and seeing what some are doing. You'll probably do a little bit more.

And the leak under the Stang is because I didnt tighten the fitting going to the oil pressure gauge.
