I'm trying to install my gauges right now and save myself $100 on the install, but I've run into a bit of a snag. I went down and checked out the Max wiring diagram, which says that the ignition is a black and white wire. So, I tap into that wire, run it too my gauge, hook up the ground, and...nothing. So I traced the wire back from the harness and found a different color on the other side, so I tried the black and red, again, nothing. Does anyone know what + wire I need to splice into? I'm not going to cut anymore wires without knowing, and I'm running out of connectors. I have a good ground, just no power. Thanks in advance.
