So I have a 5 speed 92 max SE and I been giving this a kid a ride home(sophmore). He is somewhat of a follower because when I had my 99 wrangler he said he was going to get one. Then he said he was going to get a VW golf gti and beat my a$$ with it, I said "what ever you want to think". Last week I gave his freind a ride him and I just got my greddy on so I down shifted to 2nd and flooored it and heard his freind say wow this has *****
The next day this sophmore told me he wanted a max instead of a gti, I thought that he just talking out of his a$$. Intill today my father told me that he saw this kid and he said he bought a 92 max SE white. If this is true should I be mad. I enjoy having the only 92-94 SE in my school!
PS I should not be afraid of gti's right!

Well now if you really want to get him back just start giving him bad advise. For example tell him you just tinted your windows and now your car feels so much faster then he will go out and tint his windows and THINK his car will be as fast as yours. All the while you keep the real mods to yourself

last friday in school he told me if he got a max, that he would make it faster. Then he asked me what he would need to get for mods to make it faster!

you should feel proud! People at my school thinks I am a dork just because I don't drive truck.
Here is what a guy called Kjell Eggen said, "Sport sedan sucks, they don't get you anywhere. They are slow piece of crap."

I know everybody drives f*cking trucks! "yeah man i'm gonna get a 80 inch lift and 40 inch tires!" That stuffs cool if you actually use it but half the people just do it to look big. I would take speed over offroad abillity any day.

Be proud that your friend has developed good taste. 
Besides, it'll be cool to be sporting Maxes around school and also having a friend to mod it with you. This can work to your favor since he's a "follower" according to you.

Between my friends, 6 of them have 4th gens, and only one is an auto! Its pretty cool to go to the movies in all the cars, it looks like a rolling car show since none of them are stock
