Securing car for Extended Period

Ill be going out of town sometime and i want to secure the car while im gone. I would like to protect the car best i can. I was wondering how hard i was to wire a kill switch in. Also isnt htere a fuel fuse or somethin i cna remove? What do you all do to secure your car?

Thanks

Storage?

My old '84 maxima wagon has a storage switch near the fuse block that shuts the car down like it has a bad battery! Only draw back to regular use as a deterent, is that you have to re-program the clock, and radio presets!
Your best theft deterent is to remove the battery, and stoer it somewhere else!

I would say that is the best way to go.

Just find the fuse for the fuel pump and remove it.
