Go to the 'United States' forum, then go to the DC area and post in our Rock creek park threads so we will know you are coming. Also if you ask your question about a tune up mechanic in that forum you will probably get a better answer since that is where we live....but most people are going to tell you to do it your self or get someone local to help you unless it is something major. Goodluck

Put in new NGK spark plugs.
Change the fuel filter.
Change air filter.
Put a bottle of fuel injection cleaner in the tank.
Clean the battery terminals.
Flush tranny flulid.
Flush radiator flulid.
Intake induction cleaner would be a good idea at 100K.

tight max M4S... your style is exactly what i'd be shooting for, but i think im just gonna run my 98SE for another year or so and let her go... what kind of rims you got... and are those 18 or 19s? and nice TILLER!! i got an 02sixxer... you on the gixxer.com board? funny how a good number of max owners are gixxer owners and vice versa.

as far as the tune up goes... i have no prob doing plugs, filters, flushes, etc, what i was more concerned about was the timing adjustments and doing something about the valve floating or fluttering... not sure exactly what causes that and how to fix it. anyone??

dont want to dissapoint anyone if i stop by the meet, my max is a little rough, all i got goin on are tokico blues and springs... otherwise stock, in need of a paint job and a new ypipe (my stock bracket broke and my existing pipe is rusty and bangs off the frame if i dont watch the bumps... ) she's been treating me well, but i'm starting to let her go... still carves on the corners tho.
