Do-It-Yourself Maxima Wiki (encyclopedia for how-to information on repair/tuning)

I got this idea while seeing how Org users (in particular the 3rd Gen forum) are having to scour discussion threads trying to find a particular symptom or problem they are experiencing with their Maxima. For those who are not familiar with Wikis, they are basically living documents of an encyclopedia where the author is YOU, the Maxima owner/enthusiast. I put up the DIYMW in the attempt to help collect all the information available on the Org, 4DSC.com discussion, and the Internet so that diagnosis, repair, and improving can be made easier.

DIYMW is FREE (as in beer). It's meant to aide the novice owner who wants to be able to put a little more sound in their Maxima, or the owner that wants to squeeze out a few more horses, or that guy that wants to know just how big his rims under his 6th gen. DIYMW will give credit where credit is due. Anyone who has chased a problem under that hood knows how troublesome it can be to find more information about it.

Visit the Do-It-Yourself Maxima Wiki and help contribute to other owners and enthusiasts as yourself. I'm also recruiting moderators and technicians to make sure the information provided is as accurate as possible.

Of course - pictures, PDFs, and even video are allowed to uploaded for use in the Wiki. The server has a lot of disk space allocated for the database. If more is required, more can be added. I would hope, however, that people would not abuse this capability by putting crap content.

I already know alot about the 1st gen as they are very much like a Z-car (as in a 280ZX 2+2). That, and I have owned an 84 and now i own an 82 with factory 5spd. So, I will try to add some stuff to the first gen. Great idea!

I really appreciate everyone's help. Content is being added to the Wiki daily (slowly but surely). I've currently increased upload limits and capacity to allow for more PDFs and images to be added. The more owners contributing their knowledge the better!
